Toolbox Genomics integration
An introduction to Toolbox Genomic
The Toolbox Genomics platform allows practitioners to incorporate the science of DNA and epigenetics to support optimal health and wellness for their patients. This data interpretation service takes genetic data generated by a CLIA/CAPP certified lab and compares it against hundreds of genetic markers that their research team has identified as significant.

The Toolbox Genomics integration with Fullscript is only available in the US.
Integration setup: Toolbox Genomics + Fullscript
The Toolbox Genomics integration uses OAuth to set up and activate the integration. The Toolbox Genomics platform is a single user-per-account platform. This means the platform is limited to one provider per account.
To integrate Toolbox Genomics with Fullscript:
- Log in to Toolbox Genomics and select Fullscript from the menu at the top of the page.
- In the Fullscript widget, click Access Fullscript.
- This will redirect you to the Fullscript authorization screen where you can sign in or sign up. Click Authorize Application.
- You will be redirected to the Fullscript tab in Toolbox Genomics where you can review instructions on how to use Fullscript’s supplement recommendation feature.
Creating recommendations in Toolbox Genomics
The Toolbox Genomics integration with Fullscript uses the embeddable treatment plan solution to load the treatment plan in 3×4 Genetics.
To create recommendations in Toolbox Genomics:
- Click My Clients from the menu to go to the client list.
- Search and select a client to send a recommendation to.
- Click Prescribe Supplements.
- This will open the Fullscript treatment plan modal where you can search for existing, matched patients or add a new patient. If the patient has already been matched, you can click Select to be brought to the treatment plan tool.
If there’s no match, you will be instructed to create a new patient by clicking Create new patient.
- Next, create the recommendation. You can access protocols, write personal messages, attach content, search the catalog for supplements, set dosage instructions, and edit patient discounts. This functions exactly like the treatment plan tool in Fullscript.
- When finished, click Send recommendation to complete and transmit the recommendation to Fullscript.

HealthcarePro (HCP) Products have been developed for licensed healthcare practitioners such as MDs, NPs, DOs, DCs, NMDs, PAs, PharmDs, RNs, and Dietitians who can order lab testing under their licensure within their state of practice. WellnessPro (WPRO) Products have been developed for Dietitians, Health Coaches, Trainers, Nutritionists, RNs, and other wellness professionals.
How does Toolbox Genomics work?
Toolbox Genomics is a data interpretation service. Providers can create a free account and order different ready-made or custom panels for their patients. Patients can pay, complete the extraction, and send the kits back for testing. Providers will get a full health action plan with recommendations.

All kits and panels come with a thorough description of what the test is and what it’s designed to look for. We also have panels from key opinion leaders in the industry for providers who follow the industry of epigenetics. What is the pricing structure for Toolbox Genomics?
Creating an account with Toolbox Genomics is free as is the integration with Fullscript. You can simply order tests to be sent to patients and patients pay for their tests. The pricing varies between the panels and is dependent on whether patients are bundling panels together. Toolbox Genomics attempts to optimize the shopping experience to offer the best possible bundle discount to patients.
